Today’s picture is the exact opposite of yesterday’s picture of the Drake TR-4C. The Drake was full of valves, resistors, capacitors and other electronic hardware. The American Elecraft KX3 pictured, has a certain amount of electronic hardware inside, but really relies on an imbedded software system provides most of the functions previously undertaken by hardware. I don’t want to get too deeply into explaining SDR, that I will to another time.

Enough of radio, tomorrow I have some good news to tell you.
